How to paint Hive Fleet Gorgon

Tyranid Gorgon Miniature

Painting Techniques Hive Fleet is a fleet of beehives that Gorgon was a modest Hive Fleet in comparison to the others, but it had one distinguishing feature that marked it different from the rest of the fleet’s member Hives.

Gorgon Lore of the Hive Fleet in 40k

Rather of having a variety of ships of different sorts and classes, most fleets would have at least one vessel capable of combating opposing fighters or engaging supply ships.

Gorgon shown tenacity by fast adapting on a biological level during wars with species like the Tau, who are equally adaptive and tenacious when battling against technology.

Gorgon’s fatal malleability enables it to breach the defenses of the planets it seeks to destroy. A unusually high number of sporecaster creatures appear in invasion swarms.

Prior to an assault, it sends poisonous clouds into space to disperse itself throughout these areas like wildfire spreading from bushfire hotspots.”

Gorgon’s first attack on the Tau Empire occurred in 980899.M41, when it destroyed an orbital perimeter outpost near its colony of Sha’draig, then moved on to shipyards on this moon, where they were held back by defensive interceptor guns, but with the help of Gargoyles that had developed mucous coatings to reduce damage received during attacks; these creatures overwhelmed them quickly and slew all remaining defenders!

Gorgon Battles in the Hive Fleet

Shas’la Vorcah, who had stockpiled Kroot auxiliaries to resist the Hormagaunt offensive, was attacking the Tau outer defensive lines.

Many of these animals, however, were trapped on their trip to Pechallai and the hamlet, a fate that would have befallen them if it hadn’t been for an adaptable species better adapted to combating this sort of hostile force!

These faster-moving but still little adversaries were capable of ripping through Kroothide fortifications until they, too, were met with resistance by talented commander Shaper Pechalliain, who led his people into combat with valor demonstrated at all levels.

Hormagaunts and Termagants were quickly deployed with near-total immunity to Pulse rifle fire when Gorgon’s adaptive cycle started all over again.

The creatures overran Sha’draig’s main village, overwhelming his soldiers who had only Kroot rifles to defend themselves; this forced Shas’El Vorcah (the commander) to flee into the mountains, gathering what few remaining Fire Warriors he could fight back with using Stealth Teams’ newly distributed gifts from Pechallai.

Those same weapons that were ineffective before due to their resistance to standard issue Pulses now seem to be useful.

The situation on Sha’draig was irreversible, therefore Supreme Admiral Kor’O’Vanan ordered a departure in 843901.M41; nevertheless, Shas’el Vorcah remained behind to cover their escape when his fleet broke through the blockade and hunted out any survivors left behind for evacuation by boat or air attack.

Even if they were doomed to die owing to Gorgon’s soldiers’ quick response after learning of their new edge against them.
