Revision of the code used with many thanks to Gravity Games

Graviter, published by Gravity Games (no pun intended), is an adventure and puzzle game in which gravity plays an important role in the gameplay. It is a game based on real physics where gravitational forces are manipulated. Zoom in and out and move the planets to make your way through hundreds of different difficulty levels.

Poor kitty

Graviter has a story about a missing kitten. The kitten is caught and devoured by evil, malevolent black holes. I’m not sure what the evil black hole wants from the kitty. Fortunately, the kitten was very attentive, and in the heat of the moment, when he was sucked into the black hole, he left pieces of a map of the universe for you to see. After you have collected all the pieces, he will take you back to the kitten. To succeed, however, you must learn to manipulate gravity itself while obeying the laws of nature.

Graviter is a gravity puzzle game that is easy to understand, but quite complex. You play as an object trying to find a lost kitten after it has been eaten. You have to find and collect all the paw prints of the kitten on the screen from level to level, obviously following the kitten by following his paw prints.

Watch out for footprints

Following the paw prints of the kitten, you have to manipulate the planets so that the rocket, at least I think it is a rocket, flies between the planets and collects the paw prints on the screen. Of course, it’s not as easy as making a rocket follow a fixed route unless you intervene to stop it, because you don’t have direct control over the rocket.

To make the rocket change course, you have to move the planets. By changing the size of the planet, moving it to a certain area, or even making it semi-transparent, you can change the trajectory of the rocket. As the size and position of the planet changes, the gravitational forces come into play, making gravity quite realistic during the game.

Limited number of breaks

At the beginning of the level, shuffle the planets until you get a rocket path, indicated by the red line through each paw print. As soon as you press the start button, the rocket is launched along the red line. If it hits any element of the level, the game is over. But you have a certain amount of time in each level where you can pause and adjust the trajectory of the rocket.

Using pauses means that you create a trajectory for your rocket and then, when the rocket is at that point in the trajectory, press A to stop the rocket in the middle of its movement. You reposition the planets and create a new path, because the goal is of course to collect the legs. If you pass, you’ll go to the next level.

Must think

Graviter is not the kind of game where you can easily solve all the puzzles. Each puzzle requires you to think carefully about how to manipulate the planets so that the rocket doesn’t crash. The rocket is very fast, and as soon as it fails, it starts shooting at the screen. But the game itself, moving the planets, doesn’t take much time.

At the beginning of the game there is a tutorial that explains everything to the player. Graviter is a game I can play and get through a few levels with no problem, then go to a level and spend hours solving it. It’s not a difficult game, although I think the difficulty level of the game is reasonable.

Aids and visual controls

Graviter has simple lines and visuals, I like the clean look of the game that highlights the puzzle area well. It is possible to switch from the colored version of the puzzles to the white and blue version of the puzzles. This is a good option for those who like a more minimalist color look.

The game handles tutorials well, and the music you hear with your puzzles is fun and cool.

Supplement

With 101 levels to complete, Graviter puzzle fans has a lot to offer. It is a game that can be played in stages and is great for keeping your mind occupied for an hour or two a day.

Graviter has a clean artistic look, well explained mechanics and interesting puzzles. If playing with rockets, gravity and saving the kitty is your idea of a fun puzzle game, look no further than Graviter.

Final Judgment :  I love the party.
