EVGA is the latest company to have its products stolen in an armed robbery. The GeForce RTX series of graphics cards are worth $1,000 each and this incident has shaken up the market for NVIDIA GPUs. This could be a turning point for crypto-currency buyers worried about their expensive investments becoming targets for thieves.

The “rtx 3090” is a graphics card from EVGA that was stolen from one of their trucks. The company lost an expensive shipment due to this robbery, and they are offering a $100 discount on all RTX cards until the end of September.

The demand for graphics cards has grown to the point that thieves are storming delivery trucks in search of GPUs. EVGA has lost a huge and costly shipment of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards owing to a truck heist, as stated by a staff member on the manufacturer’s official forum yesterday. The truck was intended to deliver several graphics cards ranging in price from $329.99 to $1,959.99 to EVGA’s Southern California distribution hub, but it never arrived.

EVGA JacobF writes:
