Blizzard has published minimum requirements and recommended specifications for the highly anticipated Diablo II remastering: Resurrection. The Intel Core i5-9600k/AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, NVIDIA GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card and 16GB of memory are recommended for Diablo fans who want to experience an epic, hellish adventure in its supposed 1080p glory, but an Intel Core i3-3250/AMD FX-4350, NVIDIA GTX 660/AMD Radeon HD 7850 and 8GB of memory should be enough to run the game in 720p. Diablo II: Recovery also requires 30 GB of storage space.

Diablo II: Risen breathes new life into Blizzard Entertainment’s critically acclaimed ARPG and Diablo II expansion: Lord of Destruction, from start to finish, as described in Blizzard’s store description. Return to the battle for Sanctuary and discover the fate of the mysterious Dark Walker, rebuilt in all-new 3D graphics, brand new cutscenes, remastered sound…. and the same classic Diablo II gameplay you remember.

Blizzard has also confirmed that Diablo II..: The restoration will include some level of support for mods. The developer revealed the news in a series of tweets on Diablo’s official Twitter account, written in the spirit of versatile scientist Deckard Kane, beloved in the franchise.

According to Blizzard’s product request page, Diablo II: Risen will be released for the PC platform via Battle.net no later than December 2021. Remastering is also coming to Xbox X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch series consoles.
