It’s a Potter World, and we’re not going to lie – Gryffindor only has the best. So put your wand in hand and cast a spell on these characters that would make them an ideal member of this house.

If you haven’t heard of Harry Potter, do not worry! This is a casual blog all about the fictional characters that would be in Gryffindor. If you want to know more about what makes these fandoms so special, just keep on reading this article!

The “anime characters who are slytherins” is a list of anime characters that would be in the Gryffindor house.

Gryffindor is clearly the most well-known and well-respected of all the houses.

After all, it’s the home where the main character selected to be sorted.

In both the novels and the movies, it’s also the home with the most recurrent characters.

Slytherin is typically characterized as the worst house, whereas Gryffindor is viewed as the greatest house among Harry Potter fans for obvious reasons.

Godric Gryffindor, the house’s founder, places a premium on chivalry, courage, and determination above all other qualities.

And you’ll find those characteristics in a number of anime characters, making them an ideal match for Gryffindor.

Ichigo Kurosaki is number ten on the list.

Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach anime

Bleach is a Japanese anime series.

To begin, we may look at Ichigo Kurosaki, who is one of the most well-known Shounen MCs in anime history.

In the same way that most Shounen MCs are chivalrous, obstinate, and courageous, most Shounen MCs are also chivalrous, stubborn, and brave.

Ichigo is one of the primary characters who appears often in this list.

Despite his modest origins as a human, he has repeatedly shown his willingness to fight no matter who or what the opponent is.

Especially if his buddies or the world’s destiny are at stake.

He is unconcerned about the odds.

He will always wield his sword to defend people he loves about as long as he draws breath.

9. Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito)

Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) in Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online is an anime series.

Kirito is another swordsman who is famous enough to be sorted into Gryffindor (theoretically).

After all, his will to keep progressing and overcome any obstacle has always been there from the beginning of his series.

He’s not only physically powerful, but he’s also one of the few players with the mental toughness and courage to command the front lines during raids.

The prospect of death isn’t enough to sway anybody, much alone bring this Black Swordsman down.

He battled not only for himself, but also for his teammates – and for every single player stuck in the death game – in the latter half of the first season.

Erza Scarlet (number 8)

Erza Scarlet Fairy Tail anime screenshot

Fairy Tail is a Japanese animated television series.

It’s simple to understand why this amazing red-haired armored waifu is a fan favorite amid Fairy Tail’s plethora of other prominent characters.

Erza Scarlet is not only the most determined and upright of the group, but she is also one of Fairy Tail’s most powerful wizards.

She’s been described as “as tenacious as an immovable boulder” during battles, and she’s seldom gone down without bringing her opponent with her.

She’s tough, talented, and nimble in the face of adversity, whether in fight or in life.

These characteristics help to explain why she is regarded as one of the guild’s most valued members.

7. Guts

Guts from Berserk anime

Berserk is a Japanese anime series.

There’s a reason why this figure is included in so many “fan vs. enjoyer” memes.

For a variety of reasons, many fans (including yours self) believe Guts is the superior “Black Swordsman” over Kirito.

It’s not even close, to be honest.

When compared to other anime characters, his courage and guts (heh) are just unmatched.

It’s almost as if this guy is incapable of experiencing even the tiniest smidgeon of fear!

If you’ve read the manga or seen the anime, you’ll know that Guts is the epitome of the phrase “Indomitable Will.”

He’s the kind of guy that even devils are afraid of, and rightly so.

6. All-Powerful

All Might in My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.

All Might is the epitome of what it means to be a “genuine hero.”

His place as a series legend is well-deserved, and is a result of his overwhelmingly favorable personality attributes.

For a long period, he was the “Symbol of Peace” and the “Number 1 Hero,” which shows how busy All Might was as a professional hero.

Considering all of this, I believe he’d be a valuable addition to Gryffindor, whether or not he possesses One For All.

He’s not only powerful, determined, and daring, but he’s also captivating and outgoing.

Simply simply, he’s the kind of guy who everyone enjoys being around.

With his impeccable sense of gallantry and fairness, Harry is the ideal candidate for Gryffindor.

Suzaku Kururugi is the fifth character in the Suzaku Kururugi series.

Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass anime

Code Geass is a Japanese anime series.

Throughout the story, Suzaku has been both Lelouch’s best friend and greatest adversary.

In every meaning of the term, he is gallant, devoted, and courageous.

When he makes up his mind about anything, he’s also exceedingly faithful and obstinate.

Although, at one point in the story, I would say that he was too faithful. And to the incorrect side at that…

Suzaku is a tad uneducated and naive, despite his supposedly “excellent” character attributes.

He’d gotten so much vitriol from the show’s viewers that he’d gotten a lot of it.

Finally, Suzaku demonstrates how even a character with “excellent” characteristics may be deceived.

This doesn’t alter the fact that he’d be an excellent Gryffindor member.

4. Goku’s son

Son Goku Dragon Ball anime screenshot

Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese animated television series.

I understand Goku can be a bit of a jerk at times (most of the time).

His heart, on the other hand, is in the right place.

Whatever you may think of this overpowering Saiyan God, no one can doubt his bravery and tenacity on the battlefield.

Gods? Aliens? Androids? Cockroaches that are too big?

Mr. Stay-Puft-like baddies in pink?

Goku has no such issues!

He’s about as brave and pure-hearted as he is powerful.

When he puts his mind to it, no amount of pain will stop him from overcoming any adversary he encounters.

And to think we owe it all to a specific rock perched on the edge of a precipice. Who knows what Goku might have become if he hadn’t been knocked in the head as a child?

Naruto Uzumaki is the third character in the Naruto series.

Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto anime

Naruto is a Japanese anime series.

When it comes to pure tenacity, I don’t think anybody could argue with Naruto Uzumaki.

After all, he’s the kind of person who would sooner be beaten to near-death than allow his buddy to embrace the evil side.

Because of his obstinacy, Naruto often finds himself between a rock and a hard place.

Despite this, he always manages to get — because to his can-do attitude and willingness to confront any opponent if it means defending his loved ones and community.

And, to top it all off, he’s accomplished exactly what he’s been claiming he’d do since he was a youngster…

He rose to the position of Hokage. And it’s a pretty darn good one, too!

This simply goes to demonstrate that being tough doesn’t always pay off.

Monkey D. Luffy is the second character in the series.

Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece anime

One Piece is a popular anime series.

It’s no secret that Luffy, like Goku, isn’t exactly the brightest tool in the shed.

Even though he seems to be a coward or a weak-willed child on occasion, Luffy is far from being a coward or a weak-willed brat.

In fact, I believe he is one of the most determined anime characters ever, as well as the series’ most brave pirate commander.

Who else, except Strawhat Luffy, has the courage to face not one, but two Emperors at the same time?

Luffy would battle anybody for the sake of his Nakama’s best interests and safety, particularly if it brought him closer to becoming the Pirate King.

And, of course, as long as he gets to beat up on bad guys while not treading on any innocent people.

That’s simply who he is, and it’s one of the reasons we like him so much.

1. Saber

Saber from Fate Stay Night anime

Anime: Fate/Stay Night

Saber, the “King of Knights” and someone who shows most of Gryffindor’s attributes, is one of the few anime characters that would fit in well with Gryffindor (if not all of them).

Saber would be an excellent addition to Gryffindor, mostly due to her character’s entire psychology and design.

After all, Godric Gryffindor was modelled on a medieval knight, replete with armor, a sword, and a code of chivalry from which his house’s characteristics were drawn.

And no one is more deserving of membership than someone who beautifully portrays the “knight” character archetype.

Saber is brave, determined, and much more chivalrous than she should be, given the tragedies and tribulations she’s faced.

The “gryffindor characters names” is a list of anime characters that would be in Gryffindor.
