RimWorld is an amazing game with hundreds of hours of vanilla content. But it also has a great modding community. There are hundreds of mods in the steam shop and even more if you look online. For the time being I think this is the best model for an improved RimWorld. They do not completely change the game or the goal of the game, but add content or solve a few small problems. I’ll leave a link for each of them. All these modems work with Rimworld 1.1 and Royalty DLC and can be found in the steam shop.
It is not counted under the 14 mods, as it is only a C# library. Many models need this library in order to work. So, in order for all mods on this list to work, you need to download and install this mod as the first mod starting in the startup order.

Rimworld multiplayer mode
NOTE : This mod currently only works with Rimworld 1.0. You’ll still be able to use it when you and everyone who wants to play with you return to Rimworld 1.0. You can do this by going to Steam > Library > Right-click Rimworld > Properties > Betas, then select version 1.0 and wait for it to download. Zetrith’s multiplayer team is working on version 1.1, but there is currently no release date. As soon as I know more, I’ll put it here.

You may have seen that we called this fashion. Matt checked it out, and we also have a video on our YouTube channel that explains how to set the mod. This mod is quite amazing, it allows you to play a real multiplayer in RimWorld, not a ship multiplayer where you can trade with each other in the same world, but a multiplayer where you both control the same colony.
There are some minor problems with the mod, but none of them violate the rules of the game. The most annoying problem is that you can get out of step with other players. I think if I play RimWorld unchanged, it’s rare, and if it does happen, it’s decided pretty quickly. If you play with extra models, this can happen more often, especially if you have a mod that adjusts the AI, but most still play. In the end, this change transforms a simple game into a multiplayer game at no cost, except that a little time is spent on the configuration.

Colour adjustment field Mod
At first glance, this seems to be just an aesthetic craze. But it actually helps a lot. It colours the codes of the different moods in red: extreme psychological hacking threshold, in orange: basic psychological hacking threshold, in yellow: low psychological hacking threshold, in grey: neutral mood, in light blue: satisfied, in green: happy. This way you can detect when settlers take a break, much better than with normal mood bars.

Instead of taking up space for each luminaire, this method simply offers the possibility of adding ceiling luminaires. It may seem trivial, but it will be a really useful tool to save space. There’s nothing more to say about it, except that it’s really nice to have something.

If you’ve played RimWorld many times, you probably know how annoying it is for a settler to walk miles on a map to pick up 5 pieces of steel to finish what he’s building and leave a ton of other items in the same place. In this way AI becomes a bit smarter when the settler holds a map, puts a little more in his inventory that he can take with him, and then loads his inventory into the reserve at semi-regular intervals. They also unload their equipment when they have nothing else to do or are approaching their weight limit. This saves a lot of time that is normally wasted. In short, one can say that this mode is only used to check the inventory of the settlers from time to time, because one can never be completely sure what they are carrying.

Carefully prepare the EdB mode for
She’s the first Maude I’ve added to RimWorld. Using a carefully prepared mode, you can customize each of the settlers and all the items they throw with them. You can lock them up with it and send them away with the best stuff and push them to the limit, which is fun to try, but soon becomes boring. It’s interesting to use a point system, where you can create a coloniser that you don’t overload yet. In general, this gives you the opportunity to completely customize the beginning of the game. This means that you can create an environment for extreme conditions, such as trying to play on the ice caps.

I’m sure you’ve played Rimworld several times in the colony and you rely on the batteries to help you through the night, and all Zzzzzt’s power goes out. Well, with RT fuses you can isolate the batteries, and when the Zzzzzzt occurs, it simply cuts the fuse instead of discharging the batteries. They are expensive to use, every time they break you have to use a component to repair each fuse, and in the early set the fuses can only work with 4 batteries. But this can literally be a lifesaver for a colony, especially if you live in extreme temperature conditions.

Power Radius Mod.
An unfortunate thing, especially at the beginning of the game, is when the settler refuses to eat at the table you provide, and also complains about not having eaten at the table. Jet food allows them to eat alone at the table, while there is one on all 128 fields. That means that if they are halfway on the map, they still eat there instead of coming back to the base, but if they come back to the base, they still eat at the table.

End-of-party Buildings Mode
End-of-Game Buildings Update adds a ton of new content at the end of the game. With things like computers, your settlers can learn from a better stove, a better life monitor, a better toolbox, a mining drill, and more. This makes the game wider and more interesting and goes beyond a standard search tree.

Vanilla rifle mod.
This change adds a whole new set of weapons to the game. It adds 47 new weapons for all phases of the game. It also fits perfectly with two other models designed by the same people, Vanilla Apparel Expanded and Vanilla Armours Expanded. I’ve grouped them all under gun models because I’d rather have three, but they’re all great. Below you will find links to the 3.

This mode allows you to pay your bills in a much smarter way. You can set account limits for things like X up to the colon + X or even set the account to only work if there is a surplus. Basically this means that you don’t have to adjust all your accounts every time a new settler comes to visit you and that you can handle your clothes, food and weapons more rationally. The only thing I want to mention is that this mod does not work with top multiplayer mods, it causes a strong desynchronization, so I only recommend it for single player play.

Other vanilla trees
Addition of 8 new vanilla-friendly biomes to the world map. These are tropical forests, swamps, meadows, coastal dunes, sandbanks, alpine meadows, oases and icebergs. This is a great expansion if you are tired of the same biomes and are looking for a new challenge.

RimHud is a user interface module that displays more detailed information about the selected character or creature. The HUD display is integrated in the inspection panel. This simply gives you much easier access to additional information about the colon or creature you are looking at. This makes it easier to monitor and control injuries that cause bad moods. Stores the constant circuit via the same three tabs.

Animal logic mode
This makes more sense for an animal colony. For example, they can have special beds so that they can sleep in the master bedroom. The laying hens will try to lie in your bed so that no random eggs appear on the card if you have chickens. In my opinion these are the 14 best models of RimWorld to improve gameplay. As I said before, there are hundreds of mods, so I will probably keep a blog like this in the future.
