Take care of yourself, stay home. For the actors, it’s not something we’re going to fight. But we are now in the third week, and for some countries even longer, and you may be looking for something else to play. So here’s my top 10 quarantine games. I have also provided a link to the steam storage page under each game. I’ve tried to stay away from AAA titles, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like them, you’ve probably heard of them and you don’t need me to tell you about them.

1. Roman world

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

If you were on our site before you saw it, you probably saw it. Rimworld is a great game. At first, I was put on hold because of Rimworld’s graphics, but by immersing myself in the charm of the game, I fell in love with fantasy art. The main categories of games – colony simulators, basic construction, survival and strategy. Rimworld is also highly customizable, you can use one of the predefined modes or customize it completely. Not to mention the vast community of mud. My list of Rimworld’s 14 best mods is here.

So what’s Rimworld? Rimworld is a sci-fi colony run by an AI intelligent storyteller. The standard final goal is to build a space shuttle and go into space. However, it is up to you to decide when and if you do. Technically, I only finished the game once, but each time I played different games with different goals.

Steam site – https://store.steampowered.com/app/294100/RimWorld/
Price – £27.79 (or £43.28 copyright)
My playing time – 170 hours (£0.25/hour if I have the copyright)

2. Kenshi

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

It’s like Rimmard and the dark souls have a child. He’s made a very difficult start. Almost anything on the map can easily kill you, and that’s very unforgivable. But once you master the game, it will be exciting and useful. His main titles are Open World, Sandbox, RPG, Survival and Strategy. There is no fixed destination in the game, you can choose what you want to do, you can roam solo, you can choose and form a colony. Although the game does not have a linear plot, there is much to learn about the world and endless topics. As indicated on the shopping page, you can be a merchant, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave or just food for cannibals. I highly recommend you if you like the conversation!

Price – £22.99
My playing hours – 36 hours (£0.64p/h)

3. Factor

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

Factorio is the creation and automation of a kind of factory. It sounds boring, but there’s something else. First of all, the factory you are building is on a strange planet where the inhabitants are not very happy with your presence. You therefore need to protect your factory and even destroy several strange nests in the vicinity of your newly occupied territory. Secondly, the complexity and level of automation you can achieve depends entirely on the quality of your system design. The main features of this pair are automation, basic buildings and resource management. It’s also a cooperative multiplayer game, and I’d say it’s even better if you play with a few friends.

I understand that my description of the game probably doesn’t really describe you, but I can’t emphasise the true scope of this game enough. It has an overwhelming majority of positive comments about the couple. Just take a look at the link to the shop page below and read it for yourself.

Price – £21.00

4. 7 days before death

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

7 days before death: A role-playing game for the survival of zombies in the open world. It has been accessible for a long time, but seems to be a complete game for the time being. The main bonus is early access because it always receives updates that often add even more content to an already fantastic game. It is also multiplayer and has several active public servers, or you can just launch your own game and let your friends join in. Main tags on Stream – Survival, Zombie, Open World, Krafting and Cooperative Watch one of our latest streaming videos here to see what 7 Days to Die looks like.

7 days before death has a good progression line, which (depending on your settings) becomes more and more difficult, and especially hard on the Blood Moon, which by default is every 7 days. You can just browse the map and steal and hunt zombies, or set up a fully fortified base and traps for the ship when the zombies come looking for you. If you like survival style games and don’t mind being chased by zombies, you will love this game.

5. Round belt conveyor 3 or OSRS

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

An explosion of the past for most of us! But maybe a fun game for the ’40s. Maybe you should dust off your old RS account and see what crazy new things they’ve added. Surprisingly, when you stopped playing in 2009, they kept adding things to the game and it got much bigger. These are hundreds of new tasks with an unusual dialogue. Many new features, including one that was released just two weeks ago. Lots of new features, overhangs and patterns. You can also find one of your old friends from the RS. It can also run on potato-based computers, and if you have an Android device, they have RS3 enabled as an application. Think about it.

Price – Free (or £6.99 per month per membership)

6. Exile path

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

Do you like Diablo 3? If so, you’re gonna love this game. Basically it is Diablo 3 when it has had only significant updates and more settings. Path of Exile is a hack and slash role-playing game with a constantly evolving content. You can choose one of the 7 classes to start and develop as you wish. There is an incredibly deep story for the countries and a very exciting end of the game. Every 4 to 6 months they publish a new season with lots of new content, after which the most popular additions are added to the main game. And the best part is, it’s FREE! So you can download it, try it, and if you don’t like it, just waste a little time. What we all have more than now, we can’t go outside!

7. Kerbal space program

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

The Kerbal space program is actually a NASA simulator, but with little extraterrestrials called Kerbales instead of humans. It is based on realistic aerodynamics and orbital physics. With a standard breakthrough, you have to perform tasks to earn money to build upgrades and search for new rooms. But it also offers a sandbox mode where you can build crazy rockets. The main characteristics of this couple are space, modelling, sandbox, physics and science. Since I’ve been playing this game, my understanding of physics has increased considerably. It allows not only space flights, but also the construction of space stations or even travel to other planets and the establishment of bases.

Steam page – https://store.steampowered.com/app/220200/Kerbal_Space_Program/
Price – $29.99
My playtime is 20 hours (£1.50 per hour).

8. Immigration Brigade

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

Strange Brigade is a third person adventure game developed in the 1930s. You explore exotic and dangerous countries and can play 1 to 4 players together. There is a good dose of comedy and excellent gameplay. Explore beautiful ruins, solve dangerous puzzles and find tempting treasures as you make your way through many undead enemies in an exciting third party action that will surely bring your inner adventurer back to life! I haven’t played many hours, but what I played was great. The main tags on Steam – adventure, action, collaboration, zombie and multiplayer. The only disadvantage is the price. It’s a little expensive, but I think it’s worth it. If the price is too high for you, I advise you to put it on your wish list and wait until it goes on sale.

Steam page – https://store.steampowered.com/app/312670/Strange_Brigade/
Price – £39.99
My playing time is 4 hours (£10.00p/hour).

9. Subordinate dota

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

This fun and free strategy game comes from a mini-game mode in Dota 2 called Auto Chess. If you’re playing Dota 2, you’ve probably heard of car chess. Well, it’s become such a popular outlet that he’s decided to make it a game in itself. Without going into details, hire a team and destroy your opponents in this new strategic battle taking place in the world of Dota. Each game in main mode lasts 25-30 minutes depending on your performance.

You can also play on your mobile phone or tablet from the same account, which is a bit extra. The only drawback at the moment is the lack of important updates that could shake methamphetamine. They are releasing updates, but since the game is still fairly new and the team is probably working from home, the updates haven’t shaken the methamphetamine for a long time. That doesn’t mean the game isn’t fun, it’s still great for the game, especially if they come out with a decent meta change. It’s my game if I just want to play something fast. The main features of the couple are freedom of play, strategy, casual and automatic combat.

10. Quota 2

10 Games to Play in Quarantine

If you play MOBA, you’ve either heard of Dota 2 or you’ve played Dota 2. Even if you don’t play MOBA, you’ve probably heard of the legendary league. Well, Dota 2 looks like LOL, but I think it’s better. I don’t play Dota 2 anymore, it’s not because it’s a bad game or anything, it just takes time. A standard Dota 2 game usually takes about an hour, if you take the queue and selection time with you, and it is not a game you can really get out of during the game. But since we’ve been quarantined, we all have a lot more time. Dota 2 has a huge but useful learning curve, it is free to play and the community as a whole is pretty amazing.

For those of you who don’t know MOBA: MOBA is a multiplayer arena for online battles. Basically, with Dota 2, you have two teams of five people, and the goal is to destroy the other Ancient of Days teams. Assuming you play All Pick (default mode), you choose a Hero from 119 moves, most of which have 3 standard moves and 1 closing move (there are several Heroes that differ). Once you’re in the game, collect gold to buy items and XP to improve and unlock your skills. You fight against the enemy, and when your team is stronger, you attack and destroy the base of the enemy team. I can’t stress enough how simplistic this explanation is, but it gives you a rough idea of what Dota 2 is. The tag pairs are freely playable, MOBA, multiplayer, strategy and PVP.
