Ten “who can beat” anime characters have been chosen. One of the rules is that they must be in a fighting game, while other criteria are up to you!
The “who can beat sukuna with 20 fingers” is a question that has been asked by many people. Here are 10 Anime characters who have the ability to beat Kurapika.
Kurapika is one of the few anime characters that has flexed as much as she has. After all, the guy had brought a shovel to a one-on-one fight.
And that got me thinking: who could beat Kurapika if he utilized his Nen constraint on them?
That’s what we’ll find out when we rate some well-known anime characters that might easily beat our favorite chain user.
Keep in mind that there will be no clear choices like Saitama or Goku, since half the fun is arguing the matchup!
10. One for all
My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.
I’m going to start with All for One since he’s the most contentious. So there you have it, my headcanon.
To begin with, I’m assuming that Chain Jail won’t entirely negate All for One’s abilities. That’s because Eraser Head would have killed him a long time ago if he was that simple to disable.
Number two: Kurapika’s abilities may be messed with by All for One’s tentacles, causing him to breach his Nen promise. For instance, force him to utilize Chain Jail on a random citizen.
It becomes a little more complicated if none of these are true.
When it comes to sheer destructive force, All for One has the upper hand, taking out half of the city in a single strike.
Kurapika, on the other hand, is a formidable opponent and might catch All for One off surprise with his power and endurance.
Chuuya Nakahara (nine)
Bungo Stray Dogs is a Japanese anime series.
Both characters have an ultra-powerful mode that slowly kills them, so this one seemed thematically suitable. Chuuya’s, on the other hand, is a little more intense.
Having said that, I believe Chuuya is capable of defeating Kurapika in his basic form. This is mostly due to his ability to alter gravity and so temporarily pin Kurapika’s chains.
Chuuya should have the advantage in terms of response time and quickness, since we’ve seen him respond to bullet rounds like they’re nothing.
This is significant since we know Uvogin has this ability, and he seemed to be more than capable of responding to Kurapika’s assaults as they were launched at him.
So, here’s how I see things going down:
- Kurapika releases his shackles, and Chuuya’s power is activated the moment the chains come into contact with him (pinning them down for a second)
- He then rushes at Kurapika, attempting to one-shot him or pin his chain hand to the ground.
If it doesn’t work, he’ll have to switch to demon form and start flinging black holes.
Although it would be a fleeting win since he’d have to rely on Dazai to survive the torture.
Naruto: Shippuden is a Japanese anime series.
This one would need Sasori to take the battle seriously from the outset, since Kurapika might easily one-shot his core.
If he’s serious, though, Sasori has this covered.
This is mostly owing to his puppet army’s ability to keep Kurapika apart from his main body.
His shackles are strong and have a good range, but they’d have a hard time keeping Kurapika secure in the face of an army.
This is extremely crucial since Sasori has a poison that can only be cured if you know precisely what you’re doing. So the Cross chain isn’t going to save Kurapika this time.
Even if Kurapika gets near enough, I doubt he’ll survive the first water blast. It slices through stone like paper, and you can’t heal if you’re sliced in two (unless you are Tsunade).
Hinata Sakaguchi is number seven.
That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime in Anime
We need to give Hinata some time to prepare in order for her to have the greatest chance of winning.
I mention this because Kurapika will die if she activates her anti-magic barrier.
Keep in mind that his persistence and strength are linked to Nen. As soon as it disappears, he becomes as frail as the rest of us.
Even if he has his Nen, there is a case to be made for Hinata. Because she lives by the motto “maximum emotional devastation,” she goes straight for your soul.
Being on par with Rimuru in terms of speed and strength is essentially equivalent to being a god.
I’d bet she could even deflect Kurapika’s chains, although that’s dubious.
The Seven Deadly Sins (Anime)
The primary antagonist in Hunter x Hunter was originally known as King, thus it’s only natural to bring back the dread associated with that moniker.
The most impressive aspect of King’s game is his amazing range. Kurapika can certainly traverse a distance of 50 to 100 feet. King, on the other hand, can blast you from the next town over.
Not only does he have a wide variety of abilities, but he also has flexibility. The most apparent tactic would be to split Chastiefol into a thousand daggers and overwhelm Kurapika, but it isn’t his only choice.
If Kurapika got struck by the Sunflower explosion, he would be thoroughly fried.
With merely physical assaults, even his Bear summon might wreak havoc on him.
Overall, Kurapika’s only chance of winning this battle is if they start two feet apart and King doesn’t take the fight seriously.
Satoru Gojou, No. 5
Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series.
As I previously said, Chain Jail is Kurapika’s most harmful technique since it fully disables all of your abilities.
Gojou, on the other hand, has the same win-condition as Chuuya, but at a considerably higher degree.
Gojou is completely engulfed by infinity, and nothing can ever touch him unless he expressly permits it. This implies that Chain Jail will never be able to apprehend him.
That’s not even taking into account the significant speed difference between these two. Gojou moves so swiftly that at times it seems as though he is teleporting.
When Kurapika engages Emperor Time, he is quite swift. But he’s never done anything like “leave in the middle of a combat, get a buddy, and return in a second.”
While they both have cold eyes and a terrible background, Gojou has the upper hand when it comes to sheer combat prowess.
Demon Slayer is a Japanese anime series.
Let’s start with my major point of contention. Daki’s ability seems to be equally as oppressive as Kurapika’s chains, requiring all of his focus during the battle.
This would open the door for Gyuutarou to enter and murder him.
Because Gyuutarou carries a highly particular poison, Kurapika’s poison would most likely not act (at least not fast), and the two demons would eventually tire him down.
Plus, since not all of his chains are strong offensively, killing both demons at the same time would be tough.
Now for the amusing counter-argument.
Kurapika just loses if he does not have Emperor Time.
If he does have it, I assume he’ll just use it on Daki (Gyuutarou doesn’t appear very frequently, and Kurapika is unlikely to be aware of his existence).
He wouldn’t be able to attack Gyuutarou since he’s technically a distinct person, and therefore he’d never be able to kill both of them.
Sure, he could say something like “only use the power against Upper Moon Six” and get away with it. However, I like my version of the tale.
Obito Uchiha is the third character in the Obito Uchiha series.
Naruto: Shippuden is a Japanese anime series.
Anime is countered by Kamui in 90% of cases, while Kurapika is in the majority of them.
Kurapika, like Chuuya or Gojou, has no real choices for fighting since he can’t truly contact the adversary with his chains.
We already know that Obito scales to the main cast in terms of speed and strength since he is a late-game monster in the Naruto world. As a result, Kurapika receives a F in each of those areas.
However, the drawbacks continue to mount.
Obito may use Kamui to break Kurapika’s chain hand and finish the fight before it starts.
Alternatively, he may summon Amaterasu and allow Kurapika to perish in the flames.
Don’t even get me started on the many ways he might use his Sharingan to cheese Kurapika.
The fact that Kurapika would lose even if everything went his way is the last nail in the coffin.
He might return with Izanagi even if he grabbed Obito and pierced his heart. Kurapika would never be able to respond to the narrative twist in time to save his life.
Black Clover is a Japanese anime series.
Kurapika depends extensively on counter-attacks, but Asta is impervious to all of his ruses. Chain Jail would be unable to stop someone who doesn’t have any magic to begin with.
In fact, Kurapika claims that if you’re physically capable, you can just tear his bonds. Asta, unlike Uvogin, has the strength of a gym rat, which has nothing to do with Nen or magic. So I’m quite sure he’d be able to pull it off.
In addition, Kurapika’s chains are entangled with Nen’s.
So, if we consider Nen to be the antithesis of magic, Asta may just destroy them with his swords before they have a chance to bind him.
Kurapika would still be bodied if he relied just on his Enhancer strength. Asta is just more used to battling in this fashion. His durability is also unrivaled.
Estarossa is the first in the series of Estarossas.
The Seven Deadly Sins (Anime)
I’m going to finish the list with this matchup since it’s made me laugh since I first thought of it.
So, you know how Kurapika’s major method of getting immensely powerful is to use Emperor Time?
He only did it to the Spiders because he despised them more than life itself and wanted nothing more than to watch them suffer.
That approach, on the other hand, wouldn’t really work against Estarossa in the early game, would it? A fully powered-up Kurapika would be unable to assault him since he is the Commandment of Love.
Could you picture Kurapika’s dissatisfaction if he arrived to his deadly adversary only to learn that he must forgive them in order to fight them?
It’d be the saddest and yet most funniest twist in anime history.
If it doesn’t work, Estarossa has the option of killing him the old-fashioned manner.
Regardless of the Commandment, he climbs well past Kurapika’s paygrade (especially later on in the series).
Killua and Kurapika are two characters that have a lot of similarities. They both have the ability to see through “Nen” which is an energy source that allows them to manipulate their surroundings and fight with their body. Reference: can kurapika beat killua.
